“Now, I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.” J. Robert Oppenheimer (from the Bhagavad Gita)
We are all creators of our worlds, and through both action and non-action, we build those worlds up and tear them down. The idea of fairness we are taught as children is overwhelmed by ego, conceit, and a sense of entitlement. This project is about the world I built and began to destroy. While I struggled to reclaim the pieces, I realized that somehow, I became the man I never wanted to be like, instead of the woman I did.
